my heart is at the beach. along with my sunglasses i forgot. i curse like a drunk angry sailor. i've got a lot of acquaintances but only a few friends. i say the word "boom" too much. way way too much. i have an addiction to traveling. I'm uber self conscious but like to make fun of myself. and at times awkward. i want to eventually foster|rescue only senior dogs. I need all the coffee. i go off topic all the time. if i could live anywhere in the world it would be in someplace in the Caribbean. i talk too much and worry that people think im weird because of it. I also enjoy drumming up conversation with random strangers, its the best!

I'm a mom of 5 beautiful, perfect children & have been married to my best friend since 2012. I live in Baltimore Maryland & I love it. I desperately want a large home to accommodate all of my kids!! I grew up in the country so I'm very much so a country girl at heart, but I love the textures & depth that an urban setting offers! I'm a Ravens fan but I'd much rather go to an Orioles game, sitting back in my chair, drinking a Natty Boh is much more appealing to me than standing every 3rd down & dealing with screaming fans! Also Natty Boh is my favorite beer with a close second being Corona. Favorite food? Chipotle. Anything at Chipotle. Just relaxing on the beach is my FAVORITE thing, & people watching of COURSE! Not only do I love photography but I love the outdoors, making pottery with the potters wheel, & all animals. Oh, and I'm absolutely obsessed with the Office. Fun Fact, I have two bachelors degrees from Towson University (Psychology & Criminal Justice) and a Masters Degree in School Counseling from Loyola, but choose photography because it's truly my passion. My kids names are Aidan, Nolan, Riley, Ellie + Owen! My favorite color combination is any color & gray. I cry at every wedding, specifically during the mother son dance. Why? I have four sons and all I think about is how fast time flies by & one day I'll be dancing with my babies at their wedding.​ Brides typically become my friend following their wedding because of my open & ridiculously honest personality. What are my favorite parts about being a photographer? Well, the most favorite of favorite reasons I LOVE being a photographer is being able to capture stories. Everyone has a story. I know, cliche right? But it's so true, we all live our lives and we all have mini stories throughout our entire lives and all of those mini stories tell of an epic adventure that we lived called our lives! I know, that's like so deep. But it's true. And epic. I firmly believe that building relationships with clients is essential to creating beautiful photographs. You'll most likely be doing a lot of laughing and smiling when you're behind my lens. I always use two full frame cameras throughout a wedding day & a multitude of lenses for different events.

WHEN DID YOU START PHOTOGRAPHY?
2013 ; I was a teacher assistant and pursuing my Master Degree in School Counseling at Loyola and my husband and I found out we were going to have twins. At the time, I had a friend who was a full time wedding photographer and she encouraged me to also start photograhing weddings, as I was already a family/engagement photographer. From then on, I invested in my equipment and my education and I've self taught myself everything from Lightroom to business lingo and the Comptroller of Maryland.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
I have five full wedding galleries so you can look through them, these are REAL weddings that haven't been 'filtered' for the best photos ever. I want you to look through and tell me what you think my style is. Sometimes I'm candid (that dumb term photojournalistic) and documentarian; but in other aspects I need to traditionally pose you, your family, and the bridal party to get the shots.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU AND YOU CAN'T BE AT MY WEDDING?
Total, this has only happened one time and I have given my couple about 6 months notice because we unexpectedly found out we were expecting twins in February 2020. In that scenario, I gave my couple the option of a refund of their deposit or I could hire an associate photographer and additional second shooter to take on the wedding and I would still edit and maintain everything else throughout the wedding process. In the event that something happens to me sooner, your contract guarantees that I would substitute a competent, professional photographer, with similar artistic creation. This is something that is NOT expected to happen, but I have many resources and various other photographers I can reach out to if this were the case.
DO YOU HAVE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER? WHO IS IT?
So, if Brooke isn't available (my second shooter) then I would hire another competant professional photographer with similar artistic creation to mine. Meaning, the second photographer I bring to the wedding would be equal to me in artistic and photographic capabilities! That way if something were to happen on the wedding day, you have TWO photographers to capture it who are both amazing!! Sometimes I even second shoot for other photographers to help out! We have a large network of photographers in our Baltimore Community so it's a great resource!
DO YOU BRING BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Yeppers! I bring two full frame Canon 5D Mark IVs with me to every wedding plus a backup full frame camera body. I usually bring anywhere between 5 and 6 lenses and I purposefully carry two cameras with me at all times throughout the wedding in case something happens to one, I can't run back to my bag to switch during an important moment of the day! Also, my cameras record to TWO memory cards simultaneously throughout the wedding day. So that if something were to happen to one of the memory cards (thank god it hasn't) I have a backup with all of your images on it! I've been doing this a while and have photographed around 200 weddings so I've worked out all of my backup solutions!! I'd rather lose a piece of equipment anyday over losing important irreplaceable memories!
HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVE YOU SHOT?
As of July 2021 I've shot a total of 232 weddings! I take on about 30-40 weddings per year but typically end up shooting close to 50 per year.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Uhm, duh. Hahahaha. Every wedding photographer and wedding vendor should have insurance. I carry $2mil. liability coverage with State Farm and can show proof of insurance if requested by your venue.
IS THERE AN EXTRA CHARGE IF YOU NEED TO STAY AT MY WEDDING LONGER?
Depending on the time. If the sparkler exit or whatever goes over like 10/15 minutes I'm fine and won't charge an additional fee. Additional coverage hours are $400 per hour.
WHEN WILL I SEE MY IMAGES?
Contractually between 8-10 weeks. But if you've read my reviews on wedding wire you can see that typically it's between 2-3 weeks (or sooner). I do all my editing in house and I try to edit only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays so I can maintain some normal personal time with my family. I spend a lot of time on your images (about 40 hours per wedding) so I need that time to get those shots perfectly edited for you!
